Public notices
Worldwide notices
GDACS natural-disaster notices and event references, clearly separated from military transmissions and local public warning systems.
One world. Different warning systems.
GDACS brings together international disaster notifications and modeled humanitarian-impact estimates. This feed covers natural hazards such as earthquakes, tropical cyclones, floods, droughts, wildfires and volcanic events. It is not a worldwide feed of military messages, government civil warnings, or every local emergency.
Its green, orange and red classifications describe GDACS’s assessment of potential humanitarian impact and international assistance needs. They are not local evacuation orders or a common global EAS level. Some estimates are automatic and can change.
